The GE power connection board 531X122PCNAKG1 is an updated part of the original power connection board. The 531X122PCNAKG1 board may be damaged due to static build-up in the board or unreliable operation. There are guidelines for all electronic devices that can be followed to prevent problems.
When you touch or work on the board in any way, you need a wristband. Some workstations have a connector that you can plug the wristband into. Others require the wristband to be clipped to an unpainted metal surface. In both cases the concept is the same, any static electricity from your body drains into the ground metal bench or other metal surface.
Most importantly, put the circuit board in a protective bag, don't touch it unless necessary, and don't carry it with you. The best thing to do is to keep it in the shipping box until you need it.
When you are ready to install, place the cloth bag on a table, desk, or work surface and place the cloth bag on top. Move the jumper according to the requirements of your board using the instructions in the documentation that came with the board. Pick up the edge of the board and move any cables from the old board to the new board. Unlock the old board from the drive cabinet and switch out the board. Lock the new board and the cabinet door. Start the three-phase power supply. Start the driver.
