The GE Power Connection Board 531X122PCNACG1 is a renewal part for multiple original equipment power connection boards. The 531X122PCNACG1 board can only be inserted into the drive by a qualified servicer. The servicer must know the general guidelines for working around high-energy equipment but the servicer also must know specific information about how the drive was installed and specific information about the cabling in the site.
The site must be equipped with emergency shutoffs for the drive and all other equipment. This is to cut all power to the equipment in case of an emergency situation. And the shutoff must be located within a specific distance from the device for easy reach when needed to be thrown. Also different designs are available that require different actions to activate the shutoff. For example, the servicer has to pull down on a lever, turn a key, or press a button. The servicer must locate the shutoff, verify that it shutoffs off the power to the right drive, and understand how to activate it before starting the procedure.
The servicer can never work alone on the drive without having an assistant, helper, associate, or electrician nearby to help if an emergency or accident occurs. Due to risk from high-voltages and the moving parts in a drive, it is standard practice to have someone nearby.
The site might have a wet floor from chemicals or water due to the normal operations in the site. Use a vacuum, mop, or other device to dry the floor completely before starting.
