The GE power connection board 531x121pcrag1 is an update of the original power connection board. The 531x121pcrag1 contains jumpers that you must set before installing the board to match the voltage at which the driver needs to run. The board contains two jumpers that you must insert on the pins to generate the specific voltage of the driver. Insert the jumper with your fingers or needle-nose pliers. Do not place jumpers on the board, and make sure the jumpers are inserted securely. If the jumpers are lost inside the drive, you must find the jumpers and install them before starting the drive.
If the jumper is set incorrectly, it may damage the driver component, or incorrect voltage may cause the driver to operate unreliably. Be careful when you insert the jumper on the pin not to bend the pin or other components on the contact board. Don't force the jumper over the pin.
The 531x121pcrag1 board is packaged in a sealed container to prevent tampering. Find the label on the box before opening it, and check the model number and all serial numbers as well as all identifying information. Look for evidence that the box was mishandled, or that liquid was spilled on the box. After checking the case, you can open the seal and open the container. Collect manuals and all other written materials, such as printed warranty and service information and special instructions.
