Ge developed the 531X111PSHAGG1 as a member of the 531X series replacement driver board. The card is developed as a motor field control and power supply board. Many older models of GE drivers and exciters can have this board installed in their drive cabinets. The board provides the power required for proper drive functions to the host. The configuration of the card is consistent with the G1 version, and the AC line mobile card is installed on the board rather than externally.
The 531X111PSHAGG1 is capable of producing 5 VDC, 15 VDC and 24 VDC rated voltages. The card also provides the voltage required for the driver's electrical field control to energize the circuit. These sources are provided by an integrated pulse transformer. Users can configure many onboard functions to suit most load requirements. Three onboard relays allow the use of board execution system control options. The card also offers three potentiometers and five jumpers. Potentiometers calibrate current and circuit feedback. Jumpers are used to regulate and fix current and feedback signals.
When 531X111PSHAGG1 power boards are shipped from our office, they are wrapped in anti-static plastic. In order to reduce the risk of damage to the equipment, it should only be removed from the packaging after checking the installation parameters outlined by the manufacturer. This series of manuals, along with board data sheets, contains complete guidelines for wiring and mounting boards. Ge initially provided technical support to all members of the 531X series.
