General Electric developed the 531X111PSHACG2 card for installation in the drive as a motor field control and power board. The card is manufactured as a member of the 531X series replacement board. A range of GE branded drives are designed to mount the board in its cabinet. When installed in a drive system, the board provides the necessary power for the drive. This particular board was developed as a G2 version, and the card was developed to operate in an external driver rather than inside the drive.

When the card is installed into the drive, three voltages are generated. The host supports 5vdc, 15vdc, and 24vdc output. The power required for the driver's electric field control circuit is also provided via an integrated pulse transformer. The board includes a number of adjustable features that can be configured according to user needs. Six relays provide areas for the execution of system control options. The 531X111PSHACG2 card also includes five jumpers and three potentiometers. Jumpers can adjust the current and feedback signals, and potentiometers can calibrate the circuit and current feedback.
