Product description
Produced by GE Multilin as part of their 469 series, the 469-P5-LO-A20 is one of the low control power models with a functional range of 24 to 60 VDC, 20 to 48 VAC, and 48 to 62 Hz. The relay is designed to protect and manage motors from medium to large.
The 469-P5-LO-A20 setpoint system increases configurability by providing users with a large number of customisable Settings that directly affect the function of the relay and motor system. Inputs can be assigned, time intervals can be adjusted, data can be reviewed or cleared, and other features. The set point can first be easily established through the relay's automatic configuration function, and then adjusted as the user learns about the needs of the system.
The 469 relay has five pre-assigned digital inputs and four assignable ones, for a total of nine digital inputs. A pre-assigned five-digit input is always valid, while a four-digit input remains inert until the user makes a proper allocation. Some examples of assignable inputs include the remote alarm function, the remote trip function, and the speed switch trip function.
The relays also have four analog output channels ranging from 4 to 20mA, calibrated by the "A20" located in the model number. The analog output channel can use different variables such as power factor, kW demand and hottest bearing RTD.
