Product description
The DS200TCEAG1BNE model is manufactured by General Electric and operates in the Mark V series. GE describes this model as an emergency overspeed protection unit installed in the Mark V system Protection Core <P1> to monitor the high-speed protection circuit, also known as the protection processor. When a TCEA unit is in a Mark V system, three TCEA models will be used, called <X>, <Y>, and <Z> processors in the protection core. These boards are used together to introduce signals for a variety of functions, such as flame detection, automatic synchronization, and high and low shaft speed. The received signal will be adjusted by IONET, scaled, and written to the STCA board in the system via the model JX1 connector in the <X> position.
The I/O engine located at the core of the Mark V system R1 will use data from the DS200TCEAG1BNE board to perform a median selection of three values, and the results will be transmitted to the control engine via Corebus. The DS200TCEAG1BNE model is also used to send emergency trip signals to the turbine jump gate (TCTG), and the TCEA model will send trip signals to different relays. The three relays on the TCTG can perform 2/3 relay drive level voting. The results taken will determine whether the TCTG plate will eventually trip the unit. Each TCEA board installed within the Mark V system has its own power supply and power diagnostics.
