The IS230TDBTH6A is a PCB component manufactured by GE for the Mark VI system. The Mark VI is a gas and steam turbine management platform released by General Electric as part of the Speedtronic product line. The platform can be designed as a triple redundant or single system to meet the size and complexity of its associated turbine system.
The IS230TDBTH6A serves as a discrete input/output terminal board. The assembly can be mounted on a din rail. It accepts up to 24 groups of isolated contact inputs. The nominal voltage of these contacts should be 125 V dc. The IS230TDBTH6A is the most powerful of the three available TDBT boards.
The IS230TDBTH6A consists of two terminal blocks (TB1/TB2) that are located side by side on a longboard edge. There are also 12 relays on the board, which are placed on 3 lines with 4 per line, 49 metal oxide varystors (MOVs), 3 female connectors (JE1, JW1, and JW2), and various resistors, diodes, capacitors, and integrated circuits. Each input has filters for surge suppression and high-frequency noise reduction. The board has no jumpers or configurable hardware.
The IS230TDBTH6A is mounted on a sheet metal carrier designed for mounting onto a DIN rail. The IS230TDBTH6A and its insulators can also be mounted directly to the metal plate assembly and bolted into the cabinet. Regardless of installation choice, all maintenance and installation should follow the manufacturer's guidelines. Refer to the manufacturer's user guide and manual for this information.
