The IS230TCISH6C is a PCB component manufactured by General Electric for use in Mark VI and Mark VIe systems. Both platforms are used by GE to manage heavy-duty steam and gas turbines, among other applications. The Mark VI has a central control module connected to I/ o. Mark VIe is a distributed control system (DCS) where autonomous controllers are distributed within the system, all of which are centrally monitored. Both systems offer integrated hardware and software developed by GE.

The IS230TCISH6C serves as an I/O terminal board. The board is filled with two terminal blocks, each of which is connected by two rows of screws. These blocks are mounted in the form of a single line on the long side of the card. Each block is connected by two screws. On the other side of the board, the board has three 37-pin (female) connectors. The IS230TCISH6C also has two plug connectors. Other components on the board include several mov(metal oxide varistors), resistors, capacitors and integrated circuits. Metal-oxide varistors are volage-dependent nonlinear devices that are commonly used to protect circuits from overvoltages.
