The IS200EPSMG1AED is an exciting power module produced by General Electric for its Mark VI series. The MKVI is part of the Speedtronic family of gas/steam turbine management systems that have been produced by GE since the release of the MKI in 1969. The MKVI includes a PC-based operating interface, or HMI, which communicates with the main processor card in the control module via an Ethernet connection. The operator interface allows all analog and digital data, including time tags for events and alerts, to be viewed from one location.

The function of the IS200EPSMG1AED is to convert the EPDM's 125 VDC into the voltage required for the control system. The value can be +5 VDC, +/-15 VDC, and +24 VDC.

The front panel of the IS200EPSMG1AED contains 7 LED lights. These lights are marked as P5, P15, N15, P24A, P24B, N24B and P70. The GE label and board identification number are on the front panel.

The IS200EPSMG1AED consists of several large components. This includes a transformer in a frame and a large inductor marked Bicron B9309 0912. There is also another smaller inductor (L2). The circuit board has five transistors with heat sinks. These are the front panels located directly behind. The board has an additional four radiator elements mounted on its surface.

The IS200EPSMG1AED uses high-voltage electrolytic capacitors and axial electrolytic capacitors. The single-disk capacitor is located in the upper right corner of the board. Other capacitors are also located on the circuit board. The circuit board uses a metal film and a carbon composite resistor. Nine fuses are located on the board surface. Most of these are located in the upper left quadrant, but fuse 7 is located on the right side of the board. The board also includes several integrated circuits, TP test points and two backplane connectors.
