Product description

The unit is part of the VMIC series of equipment; A set of I/O boards, CPU modules, digital-to-analog converters, and other devices. The units were originally designed and produced by GE's Industrial Automation division, but after being removed from the production line, Abaco Systems took over production.

The unit is designated as the VMIVME-2128 module, which is a high-voltage digital output board capable of simultaneously outputting 128 channels of high voltage and high current. The device is equipped with a set of open-collector output drivers capable of supporting a minimum output voltage between 5 and 48 volts of direct current. Other standard VMIC features include protection features such as automatic inrush current off protection, and thermal off protection in any overvoltage or overheating situation.
