IS220PRTDH1A Compatibility
RTD input terminal boards TRTDH1D, H2D, and SRTD boards are all compatible with PRTDH1A, but DIN rail mounted DRTD boards are not. The following table provides compatibility information.
Simplex uses one I/O packet and one or two network connections.
Dual uses two I/O packets with one or two network connections.
TMR uses three I/O packets, each with a network connection.
The TRD input circuit is electrically isolated by the PRTD. This requires modification of the terminal plate transient protection for TRTDH1D boards and TRTDH2D boards. The H1D version of the board provides filtering that is compatible with the PRTD standard scan rate. When the fast scan rate of the PRTD is selected, the H2D version of the terminal board provides less filtering to achieve appropriate performance. Although it does not cause any physical damage, incompatibility will be detected if the PRTD is installed on an earlier version of the TRTD board.
