IC695ALG608 is an analog input module for the PACsystem RX3i platform. When configured as single-ended wiring, the module is capable of providing up to eight (8) input channels and four (4) input channels for differential input wiring. It supports a variety of input signals, such as +/-10 VDC, 0-10 VDC, +/ -5VDC, 0-5 VDC, 1-5 VDC and 0-20 mA, 4-20 mA and +/ -20 mA input signals, and has a built-in 24-bit analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The received analog data can be converted to integer or floating point data.
The IC695ALG608 is installed on the RX3i universal backplane. It occupies a single slot in the rack and consumes up to 330 mA @ 5.0V +5% / -2.5% and up to 600 mA @ 3.3V +5% / -3%. This module is used with RX3i Central processing unit (CPU) firmware version 3.0 or later and configured using Machine Edition version 5.0 SP3 and later. Available filter options for each input channel include 8Hz, 12Hz, 16Hz, 40Hz, 200Hz, 500Hz, which are primarily used to standardize analog readings and eliminate fast fluctuations.
The IC695ALG608 is compatible with various terminals, such as box (IC694TBB032), extended box (IC694TBB132), spring (IC694TBS032) or extended spring (IC694TBS132) terminals. The module does not have external jumpers for setting module operations, but rather defines parameters through software-configurable parameters. In addition, the module has fully automatic calibration, onboard error checking, open circuit detection, alarm Settings, module fault reporting, channel alarm interrupts and faults, and other equally important functions.
