The GE Fanuc 90-30 Series IC693MDL740 is a 12/24 positive logic DC output module. The model has positive logic, so the module passes the current from the positive power bus terminal or a normal user source to the desired load. The output electronics are placed between the output module and the power bus. The IC693MDL750 module requires a rated voltage of 12/24 volts DC with an output current of up to 0.5 amps/point and up to 2 amps/common terminal.
The IC693MDL740 design has 16 common points divided into two equal groups. Each group has 8 output points and a common output pin. The architecture of the module has a hinged door that allows a plug-in to be placed between the outer and inner surfaces. When the door is closed, the inner surface of the hinged door contains wiring information of the circuit, while the outer surface contains identifying information about the circuit. The blue color on the left side of the plug-in indicates that the IC63MDL740 module is a low volume tage module.
The IC693MDL740 has an LED indicator that communicates the status of the circuit. The LED indicator consists of two horizontal rows with green LED lights, where the top row is labeled A1 and the bottom row is labeled B1.
