The IC200ALG326 module is a current analog output module manufactured by GE Fanuc Automation and is a member of the VersaMax product family. This unit is a 13-bit module with 8 single-ended channels arranged in a group. The IC200ALG326 analog output module offers eight analog current source output points rated from 4 to 20 mA. When the module is configured with a current of 0 to 20 mA, it has a current output signal of 0 mA, associated with a %AQ value that counts 0. In addition, 20 mA corresponds to the %AQ rate and can count up to 32,000 times. When operating in the range of 4 to 20 mA, the value of the 0% AQ count matches the output current of 4 mA. The 32,000% AQ meter values also match output currents up to 20 mA.
When the GE Fanuc IC200ALG326 current analog output module is installed in the PLC rack, it will convert a negative value of 0 mA regardless of the specified range. If this module is controlled by a network interface unit or NIU, a negative value changes the command to the low range. The output range of the IC200ALG326 module is the default, which allows easy configuration at the same time as jumpers that help modify the output range. The use of jumpers allows the output to remain in its last state or default communication and power when the backplane is interrupted or the PLC is not working. The output point continues in its default or final state until the backplane provides different output data or until the field power is disconnected.
