GE/Bently Nevada 1701/15 FieldMonitor Proximitor input monitor for radial vibration and thrust position is a 2-channel device, It receives signals from close to the probe via its associated sensor I/O or internal Proximitor module, adjusts these signals into the appropriate measurement units, compares them to user-programmable alarm setpoints, and generates the appropriate alarm signals to communicate with the host control system. It can also provide the current values of its measured parameters to the control system for indication and trend analysis. The embedded self-test allows the monitor to assess the integrity of itself and its connected sensors. When there is a problem with the monitor or its connected transducer, a NOT OK condition can be detected and a notification sent.
