Description

The 3500/15 power supply is a half-height module that must be installed in a designated slot on the left side of the rack. 3500 racks can contain one or two power supplies with any combination of AC and DC. Any power supply can power the whole rack. The 3500/15 power supply accepts a wide range of input voltages and converts them to acceptable voltages for use with the other 3,500 modules. The following power supplies can be used with the 3500 Series mechanical protection system: 1) Conventional AC power supply 2) General purpose AC power supply 3) High voltage DC power supply 4) Low voltage DC power supply -22 to 150°F (-30 to 65°C) Operating temperature 95%, non-condensing, Humidity range LED Indicator 47 to 63 Hz Input frequency Bently 3500/15 The power supply is a half-height module that must be installed in a designated slot on the left side of the rack. The 3500 rack can contain one or two power supplies with any combination of AC and DC. Either power supply can power the entire rack.

When two power supplies are installed in the rack, one in the lower slot acts as the primary power supply and the other in the upper slot acts as the standby power supply. If installed, the second power supply is a backup to the main power supply. As long as a second power supply is installed, removing or inserting either power module will not interrupt the operation of the rack. The 3500/15 power supply accepts a variety of input voltages and converts them to voltages acceptable to other 3500 modules
