The 16 channel relay module is a full height module that provides 16 relay outputs. Any number of 16-channel relay modules can be placed in the right slot of the interface module in any cabinet. Each output 16-channel relay module can be independently programmed to perform the required voting logic.

Each relay used on a 16-channel relay module includes "alarm drive logic". Programmed alarm driver logic adopts with or logic, and may use alarm inputs (alarm and danger status), no-OK, or any combination of any monitor channel or monitor channel from an individual ppl rack. The user uses 3500 rack configuration software to program this alarm driver to meet the specific needs of the application.

1. 3,500 monitors are certified to Region 2 standard (including ATEX and North America) under the multiple Order Approval option (-02). The Zone 2 standard specifies increased spacing requirements at higher voltages

The 3500/33 relay does not meet these spacing requirements. As a result, 3500/33 relays use multiple approved options to order whether historically they have been limited to a lower horizontal voltage than the higher approved voltage of another arrangement. 3. Field wiring can be connected to 3500/33 relays such conductors are exposed to potential human contact. This could pose a risk of electrocution at high pressure. Customers should only use 3500/33 relays with voltages up to 30 Vrms. Proper safety should take precautions against the danger of electric shocks.
